5pm Ice Cream Social

Update: The Ice Cream social went smoothly. Around fifty people showed up with an interest in feminism. They ate ice cream, answered trivia, and took feminist posters and flyers. WARR co-chairs Peggy and Stephanie informed the people on WARR's meeting times, goals, and feminist allies--VOX, WISE, and V-DAY--and WARR's feminist allies with present representatives spoke up to promote their groups. It was a delightful event that presages the delight to come for feminism on campus.

A lot of important dialog happened that evening but perhaps most importantly is that WARR is meeting on Tuesday, September 30th in Hagerty Hall 050. Come along and for a reminder on other feminist group's meeting times or to get a dialog with someone, feel free to email the groups or warrosu@gmail.com.

Remember too that our fourth meeting, Tuesday, October 21st, will be our TBTN discussion and changes thereof. The discussion is open to everyone but we will limit votes for change to those who have come to two of the three meetings before the fourth. You should come to all four meetings, though. Of course, if you can not make it to our meetings you still can have a voice. Email us requests that you would like to be discussed. The minutes from the fourth meeting will reflect the changes (so join the listserv by emailing warrosu@gmail.com.)
